We Are Not Competitors
My growing network includes many coaches, graphic designers, branding experts, marketing pros and other people who do similar work. You may think of these people as competitors. I don’t.
The fact is that global markets are big enough for all of us. Coaching and branding industries are not over-saturated. Demand for these services is constant. The professionals in my network and I complement each other, and together can help more people than we could alone.
Many of the businesses in my network are bigger than mine, and serve larger clients that I can handle. Others specialize in an industries or markets that are not a good fit for my services. Even when we narrow things down to businesses that are very similar to mine in size and specialty, I still don’t consider them to be competitors.
That’s because branding and coaching are tailored to individual clients. My techniques and style, along with my personality, are unique to me. The combination of my education, experience, and skills make for a unique “talent stack” that is the perfect fit for some customers; and not ideal for others. It’s important that I know many other professionals like me as they may be a more suitable match for some of my prospects.
I welcome and celebrate the diversity in my field, and the many choices customers have when it comes to hiring coaches and branding experts.
