Connecting is Not Enough

Too many people send me connection requests on social media and don’t do anything further. To me, that’s a turn-off.

It’s fine for us to grow our networks, but connecting solely for that purpose is not meaningful. There should be a reason to connect, along with communication between us about why we clicked that “Add Friend,” “Follow” or “Connect” button.

What are your thoughts about making great connections? I’d love to hear from you – and to connect in a meaningful way.
